JCPS High School Cross Country Championships
The Jefferson County Public Schools High School Varsity and JV Championships will again be held at Champions Park (Old River Road Country Club) on Wednesday, October 23rd 2013 on the 5k Course. This promises to be a fast meet and a great prep for Regionals. We would love to see all JCPS schools represented! The schedule is as follows:
4:15 Coaches Meeting
4:30 Girls Varsity Championship
5:00 Boys Varsity Championship
5:30 Combined Boys and Girls JV Championship
Schools may only enter one team of ten in each varsity race. Schools may enter an unlimited number of boys and girls in the JV race. This meet is only for JCPS High School teams and a JCPS coach must accompany each team. The course will be groomed and marked.
The top 25 varsity boys and girls will receive ribbons and the top three runners will receive medals. The top three teams will receive trophies. The top 10 boys and girls JV runners will receive ribbons and the first boy and girl runner will receive a medal. The top two boys and girls JV teams will receive trophies. Concessions will be available.
Please email me at tim.holman@jefferson.kyschools.us to let me know you are attending. We will be doing hy-tek finish line and results but will be using Kytrackxc for registration, please register your runners by October 17th.
The cost will be $75 per boys varsity team and $75 per girls varsity team ($125 for both). Entering a varsity team pays for free entries into the JV race. Checks should be made out to the duPont Manual Cross Country Booster Club. Please mail checks to:
